Anger is a Bodyguard

Anger is a Bodyguard
for Vulnerability

"Angry is just sad's bodyguard."
~ Liza Palmer

Often it's so much easier to feel mad than sad or vulnerable. Anger can form a protective shield not only from others but also for ourselves.

Many of us become overwhelmed when feelings of sadness take the forefront. And most of us don't really want to feel that depth of vulnerability.

But vulnerability signals a possibility for growth if we allow it.

What if you acknowledged that the anger you may be feeling is actually shielding you so you CAN allow yourself to feel what is real and raw?

How would you approach the situation in front of you differently?
